Hi everyone!
Wow, what a surprise! God truly works in mysterious ways,
especially with this internship opportunity! This summer, I have
the fantastic opportunity to work alongside and intern with the
missions organization OMF (Overseas Missions Fellowship) for two
months in Aomori, Japan! Here, I will have the wonderful chance
to spend time fellowshipping and doing outreach in Japan, as well
as learn more about the church in Japan!
Japan’s Christian scene is not a good one. Less than 1% of
Japan’s population are Evangelical Christians, despite being very
well off as a nation and not having any restrictions towards
Christianity itself. Although Japan is a thriving nation, there
is a deep seeded hopelessness found within its individuals.
Sharing the Gospel is also very challenging, to the point of
where Japan is nicknamed the “Missionary Graveyard.”
Ever since I was child, I’ve always had the desire to go out and
do missions in Japan. Now that I finally have this opportunity to
go out and experience my childhood dream, I can experience and
engage with the culture and its people on a much deeper level.
Although Japan is known as the “Missionary Graveyard,” I still
want to go out there and see what I can do to help further God’s
kingdom.
If you feel led to donate, please feel free to donate, any
contribution is a big help. However, I will stress that this is
not something mandatory that you need to do, and if you would
like to contribute in other ways, please pray over me as I
prepare to go to Japan. If you would like to sign up for weekly
support letters and updates, please message me with your email
address.
Thank you so much for your contributions and support!
