Taiwan is a small island near the southeastern coast of China. Although Taiwan is advanced in technology & has the middle class who is becoming more Westernized & wealthy, still two-thirds of the Taiwanese are working class people who work long & irregular hours, and who do not have the luxury of higher education or access to resources that can help them overcome their family & social problems.
About 90% of the Taiwanese practice a mixture of Buddhism, Taoism & folk religion, but only 2.8 % of its population of 23 million are Christians. From the working class of 15 million, only 0.5 % worship & follow Jesus as their Savior & Lord.
Our twofold mission is to share Jesus Christ with the working class people of Taiwan so that they may experience & enjoy forgiveness, freedom, joy, hope & life by embracing Him as his/her Savior & Lord. And as a result, he/she becomes a disciple who will share Christ with others.
