Begining in March 2022 we will embark on a new chapter of ministry with OMF, serving in the roles of pastoral member care associates for OMF colleagues on Home Assignment. One of the missions of the OMF personnel team we are on is to "serve our workers better". Our way of pursuing this is through coaching, encouragement, and friendship. Eschewing all semblance of cookie cutter ministry, we want to serve our fellow missionaries in whatever way will enable them to return to their fields joyful, equipped, and sure of God's anointing.
Our minds also continue to be engaged with our brethren in Thailand. In God's time we sense God will send us again to our ministry among Thai church leaders. Until then we enjoy fostering the friendships we have there, keeping abreast on developments in Thailand, and reflecting on how best to convey the riches of all Christ is when we again have the opportunity to do so there.
A portion of David's days are given to his work toward a research degree. He is in a doctoral program with Asia Graduate School of Theology. How this can best be fit in with the rest of life is, well...something still needing further research!!
An unexpected privilege for us currently is being able to offer needed assistance to Anne's elderly father. We share an apartment with him and all that daily life involves. This is a ministry that we, with OMF's endorsement, value in a fundamental way.
Thank you for visiting our Partner Hub page. If God prompts you to join our ministry through prayer support, or through contributing toward the material needs we have, please respond. It will be a pleasure to share these callings side by side with you!
