I'm excited to be taking the next steps in my journey towards long-term ministry in Japan!
Ministry in Japan has been on my heart in some form since my junior year of high school, roughly 10 years ago. In that time God has broken my heart for the people of Japan and the deep spiritual need which can so often remain hidden under the veil of a technologically advanced nation. Since then, I have taken several steps to prepare to go into missions in Japan, graduating Bible college with a degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages, working with Japanese international students in my hometown, and taking a short-term trip to Japan with OMF to verify that I still feel God's calling to serve there.
As of this time, I am an appointee with OMF, working towards securing my necessary clearances to begin my first term in Japan. My goal is to be able to attend Orientation Course in Singapore in February of 2021, after which my first term would begin. Thank you so much for taking time to learn about God's calling in my life and prayerfully considering partnering with me on this endeavor!
