Rodney is passionate about mobilizing the church for mission work, particularly in East Asia, and continues to build relationships with U.S. churches to help them discover their potential involvement in global missions.
Rodney Pennington serves as Executive Director of Mobilization with OMF International (U.S.), leading a team dedicated to engaging the North American church in reaching unreached peoples of East Asia. He has a diverse ministry background, including roles as:
- Field Missionary in Thailand (2006-2013)
- Director of Mobilization (2013-2016)
- Vice President for Mobilization (2016-2024)
- Executive Director of Mobilization (2024-Present)
The Pennington's joined OMF in 2005 and moved to Thailand in 2006, where they were involved in church planting efforts among the unreached. In 2013, their family returned to the United States to support long-term and short-term mission workers.

- Associate Pastor at Westside Christian Church in Kansas (1998-2002)
