Rodney is passionate about mobilizing the church for mission work, particularly in East Asia, and continues to build relationships throughout the U.S. to help local churches discover their potential involvement in global missions.
He serves as Executive Director of Mobilization with OMF International (U.S.), leading a team dedicated to engaging the North American church in reaching the unreached peoples of East Asia. He is also the host of the podcast Facing a Task Unfinished, dedicated to intimate conversations focused on personal testimonies of faith, resilience, and obedience.
The Penningtons joined OMF in 2005 and moved to Thailand in 2006, where they were involved in church planting efforts among the unreached. In 2013, their family returned to the United States to support long-term and short-term mission workers.
