Hello! My name is Dena Ziemer. I am 21, and last May 2022 graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and an interdisciplinary in Linguistics. Since I graduated, I moved back home to Minnesota to live with my parents and brother. I have cherished these past months that I have been able to spend with my family and be back with my home church family as well!
Through my time in both high school and college, the Lord highlighted some passions He had put in my heart, including other cultures (specifically Japan and its people), languages, and missions. In March of 2022, I began talking with OMF about joining their work in Japan to reach the lost and bring the good news of Jesus Christ! So, I will be going to northern region of Japan in March of 2023 to live among and serve the people of Hirosaki city. I am so thankful to the Lord for this opportunity to share the Gospel and glorify the Lord.
