Holland Seropian

Hello! As you may know, I have been given a great opportunity to be able to serve in Japan this summer. Using my skills as a carpenter and landscaper, I will be supporting building and maintenance projects for local churches around Touhoku in northern Japan. As churches in the rural areas are small and aging, assistance is needed in revitalizing these Christian centers. My hope is that my presence would help encourage Japanese believers and missionaries already there and that I would serve them however is needed. I pray that my presence there would provide great opportunities to build awareness in the area of the local church body and open up ways to share Christ in a place where most people have had little to no contact with Christians for their whole lives. Though my time there will be limited, it would be an immense honor to be able to join in alongside my Japanese brothers and sisters, as well as the missionaries serving there, in their mission of bringing the Gospel to the unchurched areas of regional Japan.
