Hello there, my name is Raphael Felix. I am an independent digital artist, editor, and photographer, with a Digital Arts and bachelor's degree in Japanese Language and Culture from North Central College. who is now currently a part of the OMF family. I have been called by faith to serve in missions and humanitarian work. In addition, part of my heritage on my mother's side is Japanese which greatly influenced my passion for service and missions in Japan.
This summer, I will be departing to the Aomori Christian Center (ACC), located in the Aomori Prefecture. While abroad, I will help serve in evangelical ministry with a variety of people throughout the Aomori Prefecture and to share the love and hope of Christ. In addition we will also be doing a variety of humanitarian work such as creation care, community service, and children’s ministry.
My call to serve in Japan became clear to me, back in 2011. When the Daiichi Nuclear Disaster occurred in Fukushima, that was when I knew that God had put my heart on Japan. Ever since then, there has been an unwavering “thorn” in my side that compels me to go and share the love of Christ to the people of Japan, in any way that I can.
Any form of donation or prayer is greatly appreciated and I am very thankful for any support you give for my missions. Thank you so much for visiting my page and I hope you have a blessed day!
