Over the last several years, the Khmer people in Snuol have shown an increasing interest in the gospel and the need for a meeting place and more training resources has become clear. In 2020, a small group of new believers began meeting together for Bible study and prayer; In the past two years, this group has grown in depth of relationship with Jesus and in number, and a group of elders is now being trained up to take responsibility for worship, teaching, preaching, evangelism and shepherding.
Through this project, we hope to continue to equip these believers to grow in their faith and empower them to reach others with the hope of Christ.
Your donation will help support evangelism and discipleship by providing:
-
a meeting place for regular worship together, either through rental or purchase of a permanent property, including furnishings, renovation costs, legal expenses and tax.
-
Bibles, songbooks, and other resources
-
Bibles in audio format for oral learners
-
Scholarships to attend trainings and fellowship events for spiritual growth and encouragement
**Please note that any land or building purchased, or partially purchased, for the Snuol Church with funds from this project will become the property of the local Christian leadership group, which is independent from OMF.
