A team of OMF International missionaries is focusing on church planting in the almost 100 districts without a church in Isaan, where millions of people have never heard the gospel. Evangelism in areas without a church is combined with mobilizing and equipping existing churches and christians.
The Isaan Outreach Project helps to provide:
- Distributing children’s Bibles and Christian literature to local school libraries.
- Training Isaan Christians to plant churches in un-reached areas.
- Mentoring Isaan Christians and church leaders.
- Operating an outreach center and evanglizing among the 80,000 students in the city of Mahasarakham.
- Developing and distributing evanglelistic materials in the Isaan language.
- Organizing and participating in evangelistic outreaches in villages.
- Providing resources for discipleship and leadership training to churches and Christian organizations.
- Ministry support from missionaries in our team from low-income nations.
- Training local church leaders within their context through theological education by extension (TEE).
We continue to support and encourage the new Isaan churches planted over the past few years, as they become communiteis of faithful believers who evangelize and disciple people in their surrounding communities.
