Hi friends,
Many of you know that I’ve been looking for and praying for a missions trip to go on for the past several months. Praise God, I have the opportunity to join OMF and Serve Asia in supporting the local ministry in Qiaotou from June 27-July 17!! :~) I will be working with a small team to carry out 2 English outreach summer camps of about 80 students. Our responsibilities include teaching English, leading songs, and helping with games and crafts. By reaching out to the children and youth, we hope to bring the light and love of Jesus into the community! Most of them are children of the working class (laborers, drivers, shop-workers, farmers, small-business owners), a group that is especially unreached (<0.5% Christian) and commonly practice traditional idol worship. We hope to care for these families and share our faith through these camps.
