Tai Yuan people, better known as Northern Thai, are a Theravada Buddhist people group with a rich history and culture, distinct from the Thai culture. With an estimated population of 7.8 million, the Evangelical Christian percentage after almost 160 years of Christian presence stands around 0.03% (1 out of 3,000 people). As such, we encourage our team members and partners to dare to try new approaches for the sake of the Gospel.
Your financial support will 1) help support local Tai Yuan Christians workers who wants to reach their own people for Christ. 2) evangelism and training sessions for the national workers and churches. 3) support our general team needs, such as expenses for our team retreat/meetings/training.
