Discipleship and Internship
Discipleship and training of young people is a big part of the work at the coffee shop. At this point, 4 young people (2 couples who married in the last year) have been raised up through the ministry as coworkers. One couple, in particular, plan to begin seminary study in the coming year. Additionally, the wife will intern with us for a year, getting deeper training in Bible study and teaching as we train these young people to become disciple makers. She will also be exposed to and gain experience in rural ministries run by OMF colleagues in the area as we continue to mobilize Christians from within Taiwan to see the need for the gospel in rural areas and to have a burden to do something about it. In addition to our regular needs, your donations will provide the intern with a monthly stipend to help pay for seminary studies.
