Dancing into the Future
Dancing into the Future
At the start of this year, OMF hosted an induction ceremony of our General Director, the 11th in our history. Joseph Chang with his wife, Lori, come to us via Taiwan. They, like us, now call Singapore home.
How does a new leader step into the role prayerfully, with grace, confidence, boldness, and humility? Perhaps the same way any of us might approach the throne of grace?
Joseph is casting vision for us—here in Singapore and across the globe. And he has named five initiatives for us to focus on for the next few years. He likes to group them together with a unifying theme, “Dancing into the Future.”
It would take much time to unpack each initiative clearly and simply, but I do invite you to ponder what these initiatives mean for us and for the peoples of East Asia. Eunice has been praying and creating crocheted art to reflect these concepts.
Join us and our org in praying and pondering how we might dance into the future with the Lord of the dance Himself. And how we might more effectively share the good news of Jesus Christ in all its fullness.

Ephesians 3:17-19: ESV
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
