Health Care Missions

Healthcare missions (HCM) - encompassing the full gamut of medical, dental, mental health, pharmacy, therapy and related fields - is a rewarding and effective way to share the gospel with the unreached.  Made up of both volunteers and supported workers, the HCM team helps promote and enhance OMF healthcare-based ministries, support and provide resources to health care personnel serving in the field, consults with field and homesides about HCM, mobilizes more medical personnel to East Asia, represents OMF at HCM conferences and networks with like-minded organizations. We also coordinate prayer for our HCM workers, facilitate short-term opportunities and offer mentoring for those interested in HCM.
