We believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop his/her God-given potential. As opportunities arise, we seek to help improve the quality of children’s education in rural areas of Cambodia in a variety of ways, including but not limited to teacher and student scholarships, and providing training and resources.
While previously we worked in existing schools, in partnership with local government offices, the Cambodian Ministry of Education has now developed to the point where they no longer need or desire the same help as before. The current gap we can help fill is providing study scholarships directly to some needy students, so that they can continue to stay in school.
This project currently focuses on Kratie Province (Kratie town and Snuol district), where OMF is demonstrating the love of Christ by sponsoring several students at the elementary, middle school and high school levels.
