A CALL FOR PRAYER
Please join me in praying for the peoples of SE Asia:
- For the stronghold of Buddhism to be broken and for their hearts to be receptive to the Gospel
- For courage to pursue the Truth and to accept that their current belief system is broken and empty
- For the wisdom and insight of the Lord in how to reach them – inroads into their lives
Please also pray about how God might have you join in the mission:
- One thing I have always loved is how God has designed it to be a Body/family effort and what joy there is to be experienced in partnership when WE take the Gospel to SE Asia.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND THE CALLING
What started at 6 years of age as poring over world maps, studying about different cultures, and reading every language book I could get my hands on has now – 31 years later – culminated in an overwhelming desire (call) to share Jesus with SE Asia. When I connect the dots of what God has done, I can but stand in awe. I recount the mission trip to Russia at 17 to do VBS in a kindergarten and help repaint an orphanage, the travels around Europe at 18 and 19, teaching English in China at 25, studying for my degree in Chinese in China at 30, helping share Jesus with visiting scholars in the international ministry at my church at 33, attending Bible classes at Moody Bible Institute Online at 34, living and ministering in a refugee community outside of Atlanta at 35, and now, at 37, seeing everything come together. My heart is all in and I can’t wait to reach SE Asia with that same message that transformed and shaped my life.
