Tongsin was the least likely person in his village to lead a church. Partly because his community had never heard of a "church" before and partly because he was possessed by demons. God thought differently.
Tongsin was healed and became the first known believer of his entire people. After receiving some training from OMF missionaries, he now leads their first church of more than 250 believers. God used the faithful obedience of a single demon-possessed man to reach out to one more person, who then reached out to one more person, and so on. Slowly but surely, their community transformed.
When asked about the challenges of leading the young church, Tongsin's response was striking. "There are not enough workers. There are still lots of people who want to believe, there is just no one to lead them."
We hear similar pleas throughout our work among the unreached. We just need one more worker to join us. We just need one more person to faithfully pray. We just need one more person to generously send. We just need one more.
