Missionary Training School with Global Frontier Missions (ATL)
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
We are now at the 2 month mark of our 5 month study program! It has been a whirlwind moving in, settling down, and full-time theological training (20 courses in 20 weeks!). By the grace of God, we have been able to fulfill our responsibilities JUST in time every week, and we have the added blessing of a tight-knit cohort of students and teachers. Outside academic study, we are required to do 12-15 hours per week of "practical application," our ministry hours have been mostly with a Vietnamese youth group (down our street) and a Syrian refugee family (in our neighborhood). The parents of the Vietnamese youth are so passionate and sold out for Christ, they share our hearts in wanting to see these young people raised up in Truth. Our hope is to equip young leaders from among them to carry on the work even past our stay. Please pray for our interactions for the youth group members (about 25 regular attendees, with some extra at times) and the Syrian family (who are Muslim but have been given an Arabic Bible in the past)--simply that our love for them and the witness of our family would reflect Christ. Thank you for your committed prayers and support, we have felt the coverage throughout all our trials, we would not have survived this long without them!
Love in Christ,
P&M
