Leaving isn't a lack of love

God cares about our loved ones. This includes those we leave behind - including parent, sibling, child, or friend.
Lord, enable us to entrust our families to you, whether that means leaving parents or siblings behind, or asking our children to transition to a completely new way of life.
This prayer is especially real for us. We have been and will continue to pray this for the duration of our service. Leaving family doesn't mean we care less - it means we choose trusting the Lord's leading instead of trying to control outcomes.
