We are moving to Taiwan in July of 2027!!
"How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And
how can they believe without hearing about him? and how can they
hear without a preacher? And how can they preach unless they are
sent? As It is written: How Beautiful are the feet of those who
bring the good news." (Romans 10:14 - 15; CSB)
"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the herald, who
proclaims peace, who bring the news of good things, who proclaims
salvation, who says to Zion, Your God Reigns!" (Isaiah 52:7;
CSB)
Our charge as Christians is to take the good news of Christ to
those who have not heard, and proclaim the good news that Christ
offers salvation and transformation power to those who believe.
We (Matthew & Hawa) hear the Lord calling us to labor and
take the gospel to the working class people of Taiwan. Indeed,
there is nothing to boast about our skills or personal
accomplishments/abilities, but rather, we boast in Christ. As we
move to Taiwan, we pray that our feet bring the news of hope,
salvation, transformation, peace and healing, to those who are
looking to call on the name of the One True God. We pray they
would hear the name of Jesus, and not just believe, but also see
that Jesus is better than any other religion or addiction, and
see that he can bring healing and wholeness to their hurt and
brokenness.
We also pray the Lord would soften our hearts and use moving to
another culture and country to draw us to him like never before,
trusting his faithfulness and goodness in all the highs and lows.
We desire to know him deeper, rely on him wholeheartedly, and see
his kingdom come in our lives as well as in Taiwan.
We have a goal set to move to Taiwan in July of 2027!

Pray that the body of Christ, people and churches, would come alongside and support us through prayer, finances and encouragement. Pray they would also cherish the beauty of the feet and the need for hope and salvation to those who have not heard Jesus in Taiwan.

We have a budget and we need to be 100% supported by May 2027 in order to move by July. Please pray that the Lord would provide, and also pray how the Lord may be calling you to partner with the ministries and people preaching the good news. We are 30% Supported!

Pray that we would grow in trusting the Lord for our every need

Pray for our physical and spiritual energy as we meet and share with people

Pray for wisdom, protection and discernment in all the things that come with moving a family overseas

Pray for our kids, as they navigate goodbyes and future new beginnings
