September Prayer & Praise
Last month I shared with you the story of my Pearl friend Z. He now has a job at Amazon in Dallas, to which he carpools with a relative, working just 2-3 days on weekends with long hours (6PM - 6:30AM) with overtime pay. Z's dad remains in their home country. Dad has an issue with his lung, but he cannot get to a hospital because the gun-men will not allow him to cross to the side of town where the hospital is. Any Pearl that try to are shot at. Pray for him and the ongoing crisis.
Praise the Lord for
- K's office space. This has already attracted one serious inquirer interested in Diaspora ministry here in Dallas.
- K's field mobilization group has received over 75 new inquiring individuals and 6 teams for short-term trips so far this year. Pray that many will turn into long term prayer partners, senders, volunteers and those that serve in Southeast Asia!
- A good start to the school year for the kids.
Pray
for
- Z and M's family and many other Pearls who have similar stories. May the Lord grant them citizenship in heaven through Jesus the Savior.
- The Lord's blessing upon a book study K will begin September 19th with some folks who live in the refugee neighborhood where he is beginning ministry.
We appreciate your partnership through prayer!
