Ho Visits Us, All the Way from Europe
My manager, Ho from Europe, who oversees my work with the refugees, is a pioneer in our organization to mobilize/recruit workers for this beloved people. He visited our work with the refugees for three days. Ho was interested to meet those I am working with, both refugees and cross-cultural workers. What a joy to introduce him to my refugee friends and allow him to see the context of the ministry here. He was able to speak to them in English, Thai, and Malay. Ho’s visit reminded me of our trip together to Myanmar in early 2020. That was my first experience learning from the refugees first-hand, the tragedies they have lived through.
Ho also stayed in our home. He was such a blessing as he demonstrated his care and concern for us as a family. His daughter works for an airline, enabling him to get major discounts on flights and making this visit possible
