Please pray for Alysha today
Dear friends and family,
As I think I've shared before, since January Alysha has worked as a nanny and housekeeper for a family with 6 kids whose mother has cancer. Three older kids (Danny, Hannah and Hanine) at ages 22, 20 and 18 are out of the house so her primary care is with Micaiah age 16 Jewel 7 and Jubilee 6. The father Reid works full-time from home and grandfather Bob is around to help with chores.
Alysha does a lot of cooking and cleaning and organizing and some activities with the kids. Liz did homeschooling with the kids. Liz was put on hospice a few weeks ago after a long valiant fight with cancer and last night she passed away.
The father has asked Alysha to be with the three younger kids this morning when he tells them that their mother is in heaven. The family had begun attending Alysha's church four months ago and I think they will have a memorial service there this week. Please pray for all concerned and especially for Alysha that she can be a blessing to this family and that God will uphold her as she helps them begin processing this time of grief, loss and pain.
