URGENT prayer request

Dear Praying Friends,

I feel like I'm bombarding you with emails right now - seems like life hits like that - everything at once!  So need your prayers on this one:

Awm (Cambodian friend) has been in and out of the hospital since December.  He is currently in ICU and has called his family together to say goodbye (he has 5 adult kids plus spouses and grandchildren).

Awm has had liver troubles for many years and is currently in liver failure.  Would you pray with me for a miracle?  That God would completely heal and restore him and that this miracle would bring his family back to Christ (they all went to church in Aurora, Colorado when they were growing up because that church sponsored them to come from the US from a Thai refugee camp during the horrors of the Khmer Rouge).  They are all very materialistic and prosperous now and I don't think any of them have much of a relationship with God.

Also, Awm and Nuansee (Thai) live in a Cambodian community of 20 people who also were all brought to the US through churches years ago.  Many of them now go to Buddhist temples (for business networking).  They are materialists and godless.  A miracle in Awm's healing would be a great testimony to them and others that know Awm.

Our God is a God of miracles.  In a few minutes, our pastor and a church member from our church (where Awm and Nuansee have been attending for over one year) will try to visit Awm in ICU.  We've been told that only 2 people are allowed in at a time and because all of the family wants to be with their dad/grandpa, it's difficult to get in.  Scott and I plan to visit this afternoon.  One of my goals is to ask one of Awm's children (who all speak fluent English) to translate for me so I can confirm that Awm is truly trusting in God for salvation before he dies as I don't speak his language (Khmer).

PLEASE PRAY for all of this!

With thanks for you,

Jennifer and Scott
