Tuesday Evening Bible Discussion
Our Tuesday evening Bible discussions are one of the foundations of our ministry with international students and visiting scholars. Many of these wonderful people are PhD professors (or their spouses) who are visiting from other countries to do research with American professors, to improve their English language skills, and to teach, etc. It is amazing to sense their spiritual curiosity and hunger, and to have the privilege of leading them through the Bible, which is so unfamiliar to most of them. While I am usually with the adults leading guitar and singing of praise songs and hymns, then leading a small group discussion, Kristen and our daughters are normally with the children in the other room studying similar topics, but with the addition of games, crafts, and action songs, etc.
