Sledding with Internationals at a Local Park!
Last Saturday, we took some of our international friends sledding for the very first time ever in their lives! You can’t do this in the tropics apparently... so Trinia and Joyah helped us give lessons. The internationals were great sports and pretty sweet in their skills even they they were rookies. One highlight for me was a little toddler in our group wearing a bulky snowsuit just sitting on his sled acting like he could hardly move. It reminded me of the little kid in ‘A Christmas Story’ when he is wearing the snowsuit and gets stuck flat on his back on the ground.
After sledding, Trinia and Joyah made some snowmen and the internationals were fascinated! They even got to have their first snowball fight ever, and try making their first snow angels ever! Sharing these kinds of experiences together is priceless, and we trust that these relationship-building times together will bear eternal fruit.
