Helping with the ‘Tour of Madison’
On Labor Day, at the start of the new university semester, we helped our team lead about 80 local Christian volunteers in giving a tour of the city to around 230 internationals! It was a great way to reach out to new students and scholars. Pictured is Kristen with our carload of international students. We ended up back at a host family home from our church along with several other carloads of volunteer drivers, 'tour guides,' and internationals for getting acquainted with each other. It was a great way to meet some new students, and to begin friendships which hopefully will bear spiritual fruit as we get to share Love and Truth with them.
