Free Cross-country Ski Lessons for Internationals
How do we share the love of Christ
with the nations here at the University? How can we meet their
felt needs? One of the ways is by serving our international
friends by taking them for fun outings around the area. Often
they are so busy with studies and research that they never get to
enjoy local recreational opportunities. Many leave feeling like
they hit the grindstone, but never really experienced the native
Wisconsin culture, or interacted with the people. Here are our
daughters (far left and third from left) helping
give a ski lesson at a Madison city park. I'm bringing up the
rear in the blue and black coat making sure no stragglers get
left behind... So many internationals have told us how much it
means to them that we take time to share with them not only the
Gospel, but also our very lives as well, because they
certainly become 'so dear to us' (1 Thes. 2:8).
Who is this guy trying to demonstrate the push and glide motion of cross-country skiing in his snow boots?!...
