Teaching IFC Classes

November 6, 2019

Kristen, Trinia, and Joyah teaching their 'Crafts, Cooking & Conversation' class at the IFC (International Friendship Center). The girls lead this relationship-building class every Wednesday with students and visiting scholars from Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe. I teach my 'Comparing World Religions' class every Monday, and we find this a great way to get to know internationals and get to serve them in tangible ways through improving their English skills. I have loved our conversations and great questions, such as "What is the meaning of the cross symbol I see on clothing and jewelry?"
