Picnic Point Bonfire Event
Why do we do so many fun activities, events, and trips with our international friends? Just as Jesus met the felt needs of the people He ministered to through healing sicknesses, providing miraculous meals, casting out spirits, and speaking words of encouragement, similarly, we seek to meet the perceived needs of those with whom we minister. This is a way of demonstrating the love of Christ which He has given us for them. It opens hearts and minds to deeper conversations. It helps build relationships and foster a true fellowship.
At this event we had the privilege of meeting several new international friends. Particularly exciting for us is when we meet people from countries where, for various reasons, it would be extremely difficult for us to go or for Christian workers to serve.
