Cross Country Ski Lesson and Conversation!

Jesse and a teammate giving a cross country ski lesson to one of our international students...

We really are smiling! Seriously... It was his first time EVER on skiis, but he did great and was proud to send pics to his mom back home overseas!...

This was at a local city park in Madison. They do a great job of making snow and grooming the trails, since so many Madisonians are extremely avid cross country skiers.

After the lesson, my friend and I climbed the hill overlooking the city of Madison all the way down to Lake Mendota and the capital building. We had some great conversations about life and spiritual matters, and I was able to tell him the testimony about Kristen's recent healing (see update post from Feb. 3)...
