So why do we do so many fun social
activities with our international friends? For many reasons... To
build relationships, to reach out and make new friends, to show
the love of Jesus in practical ways, to promote conversations
which often turn to the deeper matters of life, to serve them, to
have chances to invite them to English classes and Bible
discussions... The list goes on, but we find no time we invest in
their lives is in in vain (1 Cor. 15:58). Not only is this true,
but we always gain new cultural knowledge and insights as we
share life with them (1 Thes. 2:8).
