Visiting Moms and Babies

A vital and strategic part of our ministry here with internationals is home visitation. Often these beloved friends of ours are somewhat isolated, and may feel lonely, being so far from home and from family and friends. Culture shock, change in weather (Wisconsin is below zero right now), and many other stressors combine to make overseas living difficult. Something as simple as visiting someone in their home, bringing a home-cooked meal or a gift of fruit, can make such a difference in peoples' lives. Not only do we get to share love with people, but they also give back to us through gifts of food, encouragement, and friendly conversation!
