A Turning Point in Life
A friend and teammate of ours recently drove some international friends to the airport. These East Asian friends had been studying English and culture with us, and more recently, the Bible as well. This is how our teammate summarized his conversation with the husband and father of the family:
“He said that his time with you all has been eye opening. He called it a ‘turning point in my life.’ He loved the Bible study time on Tuesdays, and he especially loved the music Jesse played. He said he could see Jesse's love and faith in the passion he put in his music. He really appreciated that you all helped him learn about Jesus but didn't force anything on him… Your friendship and generosity with him and his family really rocked his understanding. He really wants to understand why you do what you do, and it seems like he wants that in his own life. I know God is working through you, but I just want you to know you're making a difference in people's lives, beliefs, and faith.”
