Conferences in S.E. Asia

Every three years our organization holds a global conference for our division of OMF called Returnee Focus. This conference was a huge blessing to me and everyone who attended. Some of the highlights: times of worship, Bible teaching, hearing updates from around the globe, discussing ministry strategies, and corporate prayer. One of the best parts was conversations over meals with colleagues from around the world who are doing similar work with diaspora peoples (people scattered outside their home countries - such as expats, international students, visiting professors, and immigrants).
Another highlight for me was reconnecting with Thai friends we had served with over a decade ago in Thailand. (PHOTO BELOW) Meeting new Thai friends was also great, and we had long conversations in Thai (so good for my Thai language retention since I've been forgetting lesser-used vocabulary in the 10 years since we left Thailand).
