The Lunar New Year & How Jesus Can Make Us New!
Most of the internationals we work with celebrate the lunar new year or a holiday unique to their culture during that season (think Chinese New Year, Ramadan, Tet, etc.). Our local International Fellowship team held an event recently where we did a winter hike, made Chinese ‘jiaozi’ dumplings, had a potluck together, and our host shared a Gospel presentation with the students and professors. The theme was: "The New Year and How Jesus Can Make Us New." We who have trusted in Jesus are so blessed to experience the eternal life, joy, peace, purpose and the Spirit's empowering and guiding presence in our lives! Please pray that our friends from many nations who've not yet experienced this newness of life will truly receive new life this year!
